Is a European Manufacturer of mobile machinery used across Construction and Agriculture industries, sold to the Australian market through Dealers / Distribution networks and to the Hire Companies

They have established lists of approved Distributors across the breadth of Australia, with a strong a reputable brand and growing customer base.

Your new role

The business is looking to hire a Ares Sales Manager to assist the customer base across the Metro Sydney market, by building relationships and providing expert product support and advice on everything related to their equipment’s specifications and future service, maintenance and parts enquiries, ensuring the Dealers / Distributors and End Users as well as Hire Companies select the best equipment for their requirements.

Working closely with the National Sales Manager who is also based in NSW, your area will cover all of Metro Sydney, with a customer base across Construction, Warehousing and Logistics.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Previous experience working with mobile machinery; Excavators, Tractors, Industrial Forklifts, Skid Steers, Telehandlers, Wheel Loaders, Dump Trucks, Compactors, Elevated Work Platforms, Scissor Lifts, etc.
  • A Mechanical Engineering background with the technical aptitude would help – but the sales experience engaging with Dealer / Distribution Partners and a knowledge of the Hire Industry are more important.
  • An aspiration to develop and grow with the company, the National Sales Manager used to have this role, and he wants to actively recruit his future successor in hiring this position again.
