🖤☕️ MEET GORGEOUS GALÃO ☕️🖤
Hello, I’m Galão! and I’m the last one left from my litter of 7 siblings. How could that be because I truly am SO lovely – just ask my foster family!
Nature
I’m a sweet little black and white girl who’s calm but ever so slightly timid. I do enjoy being around my hooman family and “step cat siblings” so I would make a wonderful companion cat! If you’re in your bed or in the bathroom, I will come to hang out and let you know that I’m happy with my purr, or my tail will give you a “waggle dance”. I also have a playful nature and I don’t have a mean scratchy bone in my body, except when you try to put me in a cat carrier.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I’m pretty good with my cat siblings as well as other cats but I’m still not in love with the idea of dogs. The ones I currently live with are a bit much and although I’m curious about them, I’d need a slow introduction if you’ve got a cat-savvy pooch at home.
My foster family has two primary aged children with friends visiting regularly, so I’ve been handled often and I’m okay with them!
Likes / Dislikes
I love my food! I also love playing with my mouse toys and climbing up my cat scratching tree, hanging at the top or in a hammock.
I don’t like being cornered, loud noises or sudden movements towards me. But give me some time and I don’t think it will be long before I’m over that as I start to trust my new family and surroundings. I also don’t love being held, its just not my favourite, but I’m happy to be around you!
My PURR-fect home would be with a friendly and patient family, or person who keeps me company, and encourages me to play. I might be a little shy to start with, but I would be able to fit into most type of homes.
Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

Galão has chronic epiphora (overflow of tears from the eyes) caused by stenosis (closure) of the upper and lower ductules preventing normal outflow through to the nose. This is a permanent problem with no remedy. Daily cleaning of the right eye with water to avoid skin irritation from the tears is required.
